Wilmslow sits in east Cheshire in SK9, and the cars that come north to us from it are usually newer, garaged and worth protecting properly rather than rescuing.

SK9 covers Wilmslow itself along with Handforth, Dean Row and Styal, and it is one of the more affluent parts of east Cheshire. What arrives from there tends to be low mileage, garaged and already cared for, so the job is rarely rescuing paint. It is keeping a genuinely good car that way.
That changes the order of work. Rather than two or three stages of correction, a Wilmslow car usually needs a light single-stage refinement to remove dealer handling marks, then protection — a coating over the paint, film on the leading edges, wheels off and coated front and back.
A surprising share of the new-car protection work we do involves correcting the car first. Transport film, dealer prep washes and forecourt handling leave marks on a lot of vehicles that arrive straight from delivery, and sealing those in under a coating fixes them in place for years.
So we measure and inspect before anything else, the same as we would on a ten-year-old car. Usually a light refinement is enough. Occasionally we find a panel that has already been resprayed before the customer ever took delivery, and it is far better to know that on day one.
Every postcode below is one we regularly collect from or deliver to.

Live Google reviews, pulled straight from the studio's own profile.
Interior on the Discovery after a summer of dogs and kids. Looks better than the day we bought it.
Maintenance wash on the coated M3 and it came back looking better than when the coating went on.
Proper studio, proper lighting, and they explained every stage. The Range Rover finally looks black again.
It is the ideal time, provided the paint is corrected first. New does not mean flawless — delivery handling leaves marks, and a coating locks in whatever is underneath it. We inspect and refine before anything protective goes on.
We collect and return to SK9. It is beyond the free five-mile radius so there is a charge, agreed before you book. The work itself is always done at the unit — coatings need a sealed, lit bay.
Yes, and garaged cars hold a coating beautifully because they spend less time under UV and rain. The gain is mostly in how easily the car cleans up after it has been out.
Film and coating do different jobs and work well together. Film takes impact on the bonnet, wings and mirrors; coating goes over everything for gloss and easy cleaning. For a car doing the A34 and the M56 regularly, film on the leading edges is the one that pays.
One to two weeks for standard detailing, two to four for correction and coating work. New-car protection is worth booking before the car arrives so we can take it in the first fortnight.
We collect and return across all of these from the Green Lane unit.
