Didsbury is close enough that it sits inside our free collection radius, and it produces a very particular kind of work — good cars, leafy streets and nowhere to park them off the road.

Heaton Mersey sits directly on the border with Didsbury and Burnage, which makes M20 one of the easiest postcodes we serve. It is inside the free collection radius and often quicker to reach than parts of Stockport itself.
The housing is largely Victorian and Edwardian villas on wide tree-lined roads, and that combination produces two things detailers know well. Tree cover means sap and bird lime, which etch lacquer faster than almost anything else on a car. And the wide roads mean most cars are parked on them rather than behind them.
Bird lime is acidic and it does not wait. On a warm day it can etch through the top of the lacquer in hours, and by the time it is scraped off there is often a matt ring left behind that only polishing will remove. Sap behaves similarly and is worse because people tend to pick at it.
This is the strongest practical argument for a coating on a Didsbury car. It does not make the car immune, but it buys time — contamination sits on the coating rather than bonding straight to the lacquer, and it comes off with a wash instead of a machine polisher.

Proper studio, proper lighting, and they explained every stage. The Range Rover finally looks black again.
Yes. M20 sits comfortably inside the five-mile radius, and the route through Heaton Mersey means it is often a quicker run than parts of Stockport.
Get anything organic off quickly rather than letting it sit — that matters more than what product you use. Beyond that, a coating is the single most useful thing, because contamination sits on it rather than bonding to the paint underneath.
Usually. If it has etched into the lacquer it is a polishing job, and we will measure the paint first to see what is safely available. If it has gone through the lacquer, polishing will not fix it and we will tell you.
Yes, and a lot of our M20 work is exactly that. Hot extraction on fabric, proper cleaning and feeding on leather, and the vents and seat runners done by hand rather than blown over.
The opposite. A street-parked car takes more contamination, not less, so it gets more benefit from being easier to clean safely. The curing simply has to happen at our unit rather than outside your house.
We collect and return across all of these from the Green Lane unit.
